Art and culture formed landmarks of civilized expansions a binding force of affinity and unification of human race and of varied lands.Ageold transfer of landmarks from a generation to next, in the formative process created Legacy.” The Legacy” ventures to uphold the spirit by accelerating exploitation of dormant cultural traits of yesteryears and enlighten the coming generations by building a successful strong platform which will usher never ending joy and peace to mankind, thereby fulfilling the vision of creator.” The Legacy” aims to complete the task and march ahead for such a perennial sustenance.

“The legacy of Art” basically is an Academy of dance and music provides prime importance towards teaching Odissi dance with extensive provision for research and development work in the field of art and culture. It also creates ground for modern artistic excellence experiment on physically handicapped through odissi dance. This academy is founded by Guru Err. Chitaranjan Acharyya a renowned personality in odissi dance. Being the direct disciple of adi gurus of odissi dance he is exposed to major gharanas of odissi dance style and evolved his own distinctive style. He is also the founder member of “The Talcher Sangeet Mahavidyalaya” affiliated to Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, takes prime responsibilities for grooming up of the institution.Asmita, the daughter and disciple of Shri Acharyya conducts for the smooth functioning of the institution.
